Sarah Reinhardt

Sarah Reinhardt, R.D., MPH, is the Food Systems & Health Analyst for the Food & Environment program at the Union of Concerned Scientists, where she conducts research and analysis to inform responsible policymaking for a more healthful, equitable and sustainable food system.

Her current and recent areas of focus include nutrition assistance programs in the 2018 Farm Bill and the Good Food Purchasing Program procurement model.

Prior to joining UCS, Sarah served the United Way for Southeastern Michigan as a registered dietitian, providing technical assistance and targeted procurement support to federal child nutrition program sponsors and vendors. Sarah is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Michigan.
